I have almost 20 years of Human Resources experience with organizations in private and not-for-profit sectors, both unionized and non-union. My work spans a variety of industries, including: IT, architecture, healthcare, newcomer settlement, manufacturing, retail, community mediation, and environment.
My education and training includes a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution from York University. I also completed the Advanced Program in Human Resources Management at Rotman, University of Toronto. I have further training in areas such as workplace human rights, EDI, restorative practices, workplace mental health, health and safety, disability management, and employment law.
I am a member in good standing with the Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA) and hold the “CHRP” (Certified Human Resources Professional) and "CHRL" (Certified Human Resources Leader). I also hold the "PHSA" (Psychological Health & Safety Advisor) designation granted by the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA).
